As always, you start in prison. The reason for this, Todd Howard says, is that it's partly a tradition and it also makes the player instantly think up his own reason as to why there are where they are. This means that we don't know why in Skyrim either. We get to make up our own reason, which I fully endorse! Huzzah!
Greybeards rule! |
Shortly thereafter, They Greybeards (Jedi masters of Skyrim,) men whom live atop the highest mountain in Skyrim, The Throat of the World, calls you to their humble home, through yelling in the wind. Once you've climbed the 7000 steps and reached the Greybeards, they teach you how to use Dragon Shouts and be badass.
After this, just roam and do whatever you damn well please.
Todd really wants those 7000 steps doesn't he? I just wish I had a slinky in game, for the most amazing slinking I could ever imagine. Oh well, thanks for the post. I wonder if maybe the Greybeards are corrupt in their own way. Hopefully not though.

You pose an interesting scenario.
ReplyDeleteI always get fooled, thinking the good guys are the bad guys and vice versa.
Except from in Persona 4 - I calculated Adachi's ass!
Yeah, it hasn't been done (as far as I know) in any TES games, that the good guys are actually the evil ones... But who knows, with all of the new features they are adding, it seems like they are going to focus on the story. And that makes me wonder... Cause I believe you eventually befriend a dragon. Thus, giving that one dragon shout. Leaves me to wonder... Especially since Alduin is also the God of Creation. Idk though, maybe I am just thinking too much about it.

Don't stop now - you're going places!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's basically all I have to theorize on... There isn't much more evidence, except for the fact that Skyrim is in turmoil. And not because of dragons, because of civil war... So idk, something weird is going on.

If the mountain is the Throat of the world, does that mean you get swallowed if you jump off?
