  1. My laptop exceeds the minimum requirements, but I know it can't run it. It could barely run Oblivion or Dragon Age Origins. Thankfully, girlfriend's desktop has killer specs.

    16 days. Exciting.

  2. I have a computer that can run it, but I don't got the heart to run it on here.
This game is ment for full graphics, at least in my mind.
I will have to wait -.-' (I really don't think I can... But I will try.)

Why is computers so freaking expensive!? And I will buy it in parts, and build it myself. Which should make it alot cheaper, though it's still expensive!
Oh well... we'll see how long I can hang in there...
Chirstmas will ruin everything too! I have to use my money on presents for everyone else! :o
Right now I wish I was a Jehovas Witness! They don't celebrate chirstmas or birthdays...
    Maybe I should convert just for 2 - 4 months? :)

    GTS-450 GPU

  4. That can surely run it, it's really overkill in fact.
Anyway, I was thinking my desktop might actually be able to run this until I saw the graphics card requirement. Oh well, at least I have a laptop that can run it with the recommended specs.

  11. @ #1
Evidently it is true that men can't live without women.

    @ #2 (Mike)
I've got the same plan. What audacity we have!

    @ #3
You can run Skyrim wonderfully, no doubt, but I'm thinking that ultra might be a stretch with your processor, but I'd give it a try anyway.

    @ #5 (TackusMsScruples)
I'm guessing Skyrim also will seem kind of "scraping the bottom" in 10 years or so.

    @ #6
You'll run it smoothly and quite possibly on ultra.

    @ #8
Tricky one with the graph card, which is from series that came right before GTX260. I believe you can run "high," but not ultra.

    @ #9
According to the min. specs: You will, but you'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel, so it'll be on very low settings. While your Processor is fine, you just make the cut with RAM and your graph card is getting old too, but it is eligible.

    @ #10
    Word up, home boy.

  12. Hmmm .. I have one question Braas. I cannot remember to have read about object - in the way that we can still carry them infront of you.
For instance: You find some gems and a nice bowl of, say glass or silver, and you want to place this object in a speciffic place in your house, a table if you want...
I'm almost sure we can do this, but not entierly.
Could you please enlighten me on the subject.

    - Mike

ps. as we kind of have the same plan with the computer, do you really think you (and me for that matter) are able to wait untill we get good enough specs, before we try this amasing adventure out? (Ô______ô)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Good question, Mike - I do actually already have a draft on this subject, which I haven't completed yet.
The answer is: yes, you definitely can.

Well, my specs are fine, Mike. I was referring to the Jehova's Witness plan.

  14. McBraas.. Thanks for the info.. i'm numb 9.
How can I get more Ram? is that posible?
If so do you know how much that costs?
If I get more Ram(if thats even posible) will the game run on reg settings?

    Thanks =)

    ReplyDelete
  15. See if your Motherboard has empty RAM sockets. If there are, they'll be next to your already integrated RAM (Which are thin, usually green cards.)

If there are room for more, then buy some, they ain't that expensive. If not, then maybe you can get some better RAM than you already have.

If you have a laptop or don't know what RAM your motherboard can take, I suggest calling up wherever you bought your computer and ask there.

To hit the rec settings, you need to also get a new graph card, at least one series newer.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Ok McbBraas, I just got another stick of Ram.. now I have 4GB.. What Graph Card should I go and buy.. I have a G31M-S motherbord...

    Thanks =)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wow, that was fast :O

Well, you could just buy the GTX260 or Radeon HD 4890, which are the recommended ones - If you wanna spend some real money and stay ahead for a while, you can always buy something newer than that.

  18. Oh the jehovas witnesses...
Well... I could help you convert if we switched computers, you can keep your hardrive, and I will keep mine. But we can switch parts.
And I can help you into Jehovas Witnesses! :)

    Deal?

    - Mike

  19. And ofcourse... how could I forget.
Thanks for the heads up.. I really do care for my houses to look good... a little obsession of mine :)

    So thanks.

    - Mike, out! *Zzzzzzzz*

  20. Haha ok Thanks McBraas.. uhh i just got the GTX 560..

So now with my 4GB and new Card will i be able to play good?

    Thanks =)

    ReplyDelete
  21. HOW DO YOU SHOP SO FAST?! :O

Yeah. Now you'll be able to play good. Remember to update your drivers when you've installed your new graphics card.

  22. 6GB of HDD doesn't seem like very much by today's standards. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is 8GB, and I'm sure it's not even half as big as Skyrim. Crappy textures too.

  23. Thanks So much for all the Help McBraas..!

  24. Can a Dell inspiron 15 N5040 run it?

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ #9

    You're welcome.

    @ Last guy
Well, I'm not sure - I know nothing about Intel HD Graphics. They are integrated into the Processor, which seems to be mono-core, so I am guessing that if it will run, it'll be very poorly.

My advice: Try it if you have the money, but don't get your hopes up.
