Storm Atronachs!

I've been asking around about these! I love Atronachs and we've already seen the gorgeous fire atronachs, scorching us with their fiery hotness - And also the brute ice atronachs, bashing us around more than Bane did Batman at their first encounter.

Finally, the trio is complete and I can rest (as if.) With the little picture of a Storm atronach, which I have so neatly acquired (stolen,) I can happily conclude that they all make it and making a slave of each kind of them will be my foremost priority, after acquiring a spoon, of course.

Goblins!

I love goblins! They're always an easy solution to a lack of momentary creativity - Along with kobolds, of course - Small humanoid creatures, whose nature or motives are never questioned, but merely serves as arrow-bait and cannon fodder (Whichever you prefer.)

I've been tediously curious as to why we didn't get any info on goblins in Skyrim and came to the conclusion that they had either excluded them (I know, God forbid it,) or merely thought that they seemed as common as dirty politicians, that they needn't be mentioned for us to know that they are there.

Luckily enough (for these innocent puppies in my possession), it seems that the latter option was correct and I do get my walking targets with sticks of steel. Oh, and BTW, they're cooler than they were in Oblivion! Huzzah!!

I was asked by one of the gossip girls to make a list on things that has/hasn't been confirmed, and since I was asked with hugs and kisses, I dared not reject the idea. This will be with short "yes" / "no" replies to each topic, possibly with a short description. Everything is just off the top of my head, so here we go:

Not confirmed. I wouldn't count on it, but then again: It's Bethesda.

The baby is kicking

Can you feel it? I sure can! It'll be here soon! It's kicking and screaming to come out and join us! I can feel it and I KNOW that you can feel it too! It just feels so good! I am of course talking about Skyrim, which will be released 2½ days, should we choose to ignore certain places like, say, Australia - which we will.

The reason for this sudden outbreak on my part is this:

The Order confirmation that I received few hours ago. I think it's about time that we get this game and so does Bethesda, I'm sure.

A goal of mine is to reach 200 posts before 11/11/11 is over, which gives me about 3 days, which are quite occupied, so it's going to be a badass ambition!

Oh, and this post counts as well.

Hunt --> Kill --> Skin --> Cook

I think I may have written about killing innocent animals several times before, but since everyone enjoys partaking in inhuman acts of animal cruelty, lets pack the topic into yet another package!

As I've mentioned before, I am quite keen on the whole "hunting" aspect of RPG's, but unfortunately the closest we've ever got to a decent system is Gothic III, which was basically one big bug. Hunting in Oblivion was doable, but not all that satisfying, since it was far from being an intended aspect.

All that will now change, with Skyrim being released on Friday! As it turns out, there's now a point in hunting critters, apart from the mere joy of ending the lives of pristine animals, whilst shouting "Death by arrow!" (No, using flames is not hunting!)
Now we can get meat, which we can use for cooking, on which we can earn a couple of bucks - Ka-Ching!
Moreover we can also use the pelts to wrap around the handle of our trusty weapon, in order to do something! (I have no fricken clue as to what it does.)

Finally, reassuringly enough, one of the journalists who have had the pleasure of already playing the game, has assured us that hunting deer, or elk, or whatever, is fricken entertaining. Also, you can run into other hunters out in the wild, kill them and take their loot - or not; But I think I know which option you'd prefer.
